Hello everyone,
Here's a final update on my winter in Reutte, which I spent as best I could in the mountains (snow conditions permitting).
You can find some pictures here and all others in the photo department.
This tour also included the annual balloon festival in Tannheim. This has resulted in a rare and extraordinary setting.
Unfortunately the snow was only for a short time. Climate change can be felt again, because instead of beautiful white snow, unfortunately there was only rain, rain and more rain. And when there is so much rain, the valleys unfortunately no longer stay white but slowly turn green again and spring feels like it is already arriving.
If the valleys are green, tourers have to start higher or use the slopes that are still there.
They were really great tours with great company and I'm already looking forward to the next snow.
In addition to the tours, I also sat at my desk for a few hours and planned my next trip. And right now I'm reporting on snow and freezing temperatures while it's 32 degrees and I'm lying in bed with a thin sheet. A bit absurd but I'm not 100% sure which I like better.
But more about the start of my trip in Indonesia in the next post.
With this in mind: warm greetings.
Your Britta
