How awesome is such a view to wake up to?

After all the hardships of the journey, our plan for today was to have no plan and just start the day relaxed. So we were finally able to talk with our friends about the little important things in life.

Of course, the first exploration of the beach couldn't be missed either, so we drove to Nokomis Public Beach to stroll along the seashore.

We then casually "cruised" back in American style, although the vehicle we were in wasn't exactly what you would associate with the word "cruising". But hey, you have to be flexible 😜

Unfortunately, trying to buy two bottles of wine at a supermarket turned out to be a bit difficult: the stupid terminal rejected my PIN number twice. Before the almost disgustingly friendly cashier would cheerfully cut up my card after the third incorrect PIN entry, I let Sascha pay the bill instead. So I will have to try again to see if I was just too stupid to enter the PIN correctly...

We spent the rest of the afternoon/evening chatting with our hosts and ended the evening with a romantic glass of wine and a beautiful view.
