Tuscany 2002 - Day 4

Hot night. Good breakfast. Pool. Afternoon TV.

The Germans have more luck than sense and win 1-0 against the bravely fighting South Koreans. What a pity!

After a quick round of pool, we drive to Badia to buy cheap wine from Nanni and then I redeem my birthday voucher at Dragoni in Castelnuovo Berardenga , because Hans from Weitra is unfortunately no longer at La Trappola.

Good food as always: bruschetta pomodoro, pici all' aglione, anatra con porchetta, torta di frutta. Coffee, grappa, wine - naturally. And finally an accelerator at the sink next to the toilet!

We get home at midnight, Bettina and Christian go to bed and I read a little by candlelight on the terrace.
