Friday, 27.12.19, Day 40

The Pinnacles

We are still lying under the starry sky, enjoying the absolute silence. Just after midnight, we get up again to take photos. After a few hours of surprisingly pleasant sleep, we are woken up by the first hikers for the sunrise, just after five o'clock.

Quickly, we find the best possible spot to watch it.

Despite the clouds, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise.

After we are alone again, we have another bread for breakfast on top of the mountain.

Then we make our way back to the hut and from here via another hiking trail to the car.

But this one proves to be very strenuous as well. There are often very steep and difficult paths, both uphill and downhill.

In the end, our legs hurt a lot, so we are glad to be on the home stretch to the parking lot and finally see our Zuhlo again. Fortunately, everything was the same there.

After a makeshift but refreshing shower, we drive to a campsite.
