Day 9 - Isle of Skye

Hello there,

Today, as announced, we took part in a bus tour to the main attractions of Skye. Since only 4 out of 8 seats were taken on the planned tour, and then 2 guests did not show up, we had the pleasure of an 8-hour private tour across the island. Our guide was a born and raised islander, a very dedicated man who also shared his own family history and personal experiences along with the history of each place. So we heard about kilts, castles, fairies, and geology all day long, and saw the most popular attractions on Skye, such as the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, Quiraing, the Fairy Glands, Dunvegan Castle, and the Fairy Pools. Now we both have a lot on our minds from all these experiences, and we will soon head to bed. Therefore, this time there is a bit less text, but plenty of photos.
