Day 12 - Glasgow

Hello,

After enjoying our hike yesterday and since the first train to Glasgow only left at noon anyway (the joys of Sundays), we decided to go for another walk this morning after breakfast. So we set off without backpacks and actually stumbled upon a nice hiking trail with a viewpoint after 20 minutes of walking.

Afterwards, we unfortunately had to leave our luxurious accommodation and continue by train through the Scottish Highlands to Glasgow.

Once we arrived in Glasgow, we split up so that one of us could enjoy a peaceful afternoon at the accommodation with a walk, while the other made their way to the Kelvingrove Museum. After an evening picnic in the park, we did end up meeting back at the accommodation.

Tomorrow we have one more day in Glasgow before moving on to Stranraer, a small harbor town from where our ferry to Ireland departs.
