Today we were on our way in Burgundy, mission: wine. The Route des Grands Crus was on the plan. So we crossed the Côte d'Or, more precisely the Côte de Beaune in the south and the Côte de Nuits in the north. This road leads through vineyards, mountain villages, and past some chateaus for about 60 km. We took our lunch break in Beaune, a pleasantly large town with a winding pedestrian zone and many old stone houses. We fortified ourselves for our shopping tour in a cute little restaurant with Linguine with Alba truffle and lobster ravioli with winter truffle. And it was finally successful. The Route des Grands Crus led us further to Dijon. Here, too, there are many alleyways, shops, and restaurants to discover. For dinner, after the feudal lunch table, we had very simple but delicious Flammkuchen. They haven't been on the menu anywhere yet. For our nightcap, we chose the wine bar L'age de raisin. A large selection of wines, red and white checkered tablecloths, stone walls, and a friendly host with a Basque beret, in short, simply cozy.
