29.04. Great Barrier Reef 🇳🇿

Today we made a tour to a deserted island. From there we went snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef. Unfortunately, the visibility was not very good due to high waves.

We saw huge corals, clownfish and a giant clam (it was 120 cm wide).

After lunch, we explored the island with our guide. He showed us the animals that live there and explained the formation of coral reefs.

The biggest threat to the reef is not global warming, but giant starfish that eat the corals.
