It was very windy at night. The ground did not allow us to secure hooks, so the tarp was blowing back and forth on the tent. In the morning, I noticed that it was no longer there. That's why it got so cold and drafty. Luckily, the tarp was right next to the tent. Quickly to the lighthouse for the sunrise, where we also brushed our teeth. Then dropped off Serena in Exmouth for her swim with the whale sharks.
We filled up with water, washed dishes, and repaired the still broken brake. Jana and I worked on our resumes at the library. Prepared dinner for later in the parking lot. When Serena returned, we went to a nearby campground to take a hot shower.
To get to Karijini National Park as quickly as possible, we drove for another 4.5 hours in the evening. I proved to be a good co-driver, always drumming on the dashboard when I saw animals on the road before Michael did. Fortunately, we arrived safely at our destination.
