16.11.19 - Esperance / Bunnings / Lucky Bay

It’s been a while!

From Denmark we made our way to Albany, Bremer bay and now to Esperance.

The girls car struggled a few times and the groups mood went through some turbulences.

Everything should be fixed now and we’ve had a great time in Esperance so far. Watched a sunset from the rocks and recorded my first timelapse on the evening we arrived.

Went to a hardware store called „Bunnings“ to get a few things... surprisingly got introduced to a typical Australian tradition:

You can compare Bunnings to German hardware stores like Obi or Bauhaus.

In Germany you find tiny food stores in front of the hardware store selling German sausage like Currywurst.

At Bunnings on weekend days you’ll find store employees selling Australian sausage for a few dollars. Very friendly people over there.. good vibes and a tasty snack guaranteed! 🤙

Esperance offers the most beautiful beaches so far (at least in my opinion). Absolute highlight was Lucky Bay!!

It was quite windy the day we went there so there were no kangaroos around 😕

Still a stunning view and lots of fun to take the Range Rover off-road on the white sand... awesome! 😎

Heading towards Adelaide the next days.

Plan is to stay there a few nights and catch a plane to Cairns.
