Since I couldn't work today either, I went for a hike with Sarah and Rouven again. This time it was a part of the Otter Trail that led to a waterfall. This hike was also very diverse and went through very rocky terrain along a big rock. The rocks were also very different. In one section, they were very sharp and elongated, and a curve later they were large and round. The colors of the rocks were also very different. Today, I also saw Dassies for the first time. These are small guinea pig-like animals that can be seen everywhere along the roadside. At the end of the hike, there was a not very big waterfall, but with a very nice pool of water in front of it that flowed into the sea. We enjoyed our lunch break there and made acquaintance with Olaf the seagull, who ate our remaining lunch. On the way back by car, we had to pass through a toll booth on the highway, which we had already passed on the way there. Normally, the gate opens automatically for rental cars and you don't have to pay (for some reason...). But when we were on the way back, it didn't open anymore. The woman asked if we didn't have a device in the car. We didn't know, but we told her that it always opened automatically (and for free) on the way there and the other times. The woman then said that she couldn't do anything about it, we had to pay for it to open. That's how easy it is to make money!
In the evening, we all had dinner together in Steph and Paul's garden. We were also visited by a few bird lovers who ate our leftover cheese. They can catch food wonderfully from the air.
