The night before, we had finished packing our suitcases and planned a four-hour trip to Salinas today. We had decided to give Déby's car a quick check-up so that we wouldn't have any more problems on the way. Thank God, there were only a few minor things like headlight bulbs that needed to be replaced.

So the trip could start and everything went smoothly.

Arriving at the house, we were rewarded for all the Christmas preparations. A great house, even better equipped than the last house in Mosqueiro!

Only Déby's sister Márcia and her husband Garilson had problems because they couldn't catch the bus in Belém due to their last-minute shopping and could only arrive the next morning.
