This was passed on to me (and probably to many others reading these lines) It may be that my inner German self somehow missed that. Maybe it was already more occupied with the journey rather than the planning.
I also designed the first planning stage of my journey according to this motto. There is a lot to do and clarify when leaving behind all the regularities of one's own life. Authorities, health insurance, pensions and retirement funds are probably the most important points that need to be considered. But I can already advise you now: Get yourself acquainted with options for a private buffer for later!
So in the end, I couldn't resist and took care of and clarified the most important points.
One advantage of all the regularity disappearing and tackling one's comfort zone, folding it six times, tying it up and finally throwing it away, is having a friend supporting such a transformation and being up for crazy ideas.
May I introduce: MARIOOOOOOOO!
So for the first 4 weeks, I have a travel companion who brings a bit of comfort back to me and sets off with me. Well, or rather on the way to the way.
However, until the day before yesterday, the route that Mario and I wanted to take was not yet clear. North Italy was actually planned, as passionate climbers, but unfortunately the weather here ruined our plans. So where to? First gather some ideas and what always helps very well with that? Exactly - first a little tourist tour at home. So off to Neuschwanstein Castle:
We decided to go right, both for the tourist tour and for the planning of the next few weeks. We are planning a round trip with the following stops: Salzburg, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Hungarian Pusta, Zagreb, Trieste and then back to Reutte.
We will start on July 10th and be back no later than July 31st. (According to plan.) The car is ready, things are packed - Are we ready too?
