TAG 4 SUNDAY

'The nature Island', that's what the mountainous and original Caribbean island covered with huge rainforests is called! Grand waterfalls, many freshwater lakes - a diverse island that has also been the setting for several film shoots ('Pirates of the Caribbean'). The island is 49 km long and 23 km wide.

Planning: After learning that this is a hotspot for whales and dolphins, we booked a half-day boat trip through TripAdvisor!

After a brief search, we met the guide and found out...overbooked and we were not on the list! After over 30 minutes, it was finally resolved that 9 instead of 8 of us could go on the boat! We then drove around Dominica for 3 hours, but the whales and dolphins seemed to have taken a trip together...to another island! The only advantage was that we were driving in the sun and it was raining on land! Well, advantage...Dany had enough of the sun and got a headache! Lunch was then a bit one-sided (practically only for me) and then I went alone to the botanical garden and took the Jack's Walk Trail to the viewpoint above the city. Back on the ship, Dany felt better again and we were able to go for cappuccino and in the whirlpool! Leaving with the couple from Karlsruhe at the Lanai Bar during a gorgeous sunset! Today was magic evening (and I still don't understand the tricks) and live music at the pool bar!
