Tag 1 Auckland

Arrived in Auckland after 25 hours of flying from Munich - Dubai - Auckland! The flight with Emirates was very pleasant, the A380 flies very smoothly. The front right seat was just as quiet, not in the main cabin. There were plenty of drinks and fruits there throughout the long night.

I was picked up from the airport to receive the VW Bus. Driving in left-hand traffic with jet lag, in a camper van, through the city to complete some shopping and errands. So, doing everything that you're supposedly not supposed to do after a long flight... 😉

A new phone number and SIM card are also ready. No paperwork to worry about, not even a PIN to remember.

In the evening, heading to Rays Rest, a beach about an hour away from Auckland.
