Unexpected reunion

Through a series of coincidences, I found out that my old buddy Daniele was in Milan for 4 days.

We met 5 years ago at a surf camp in northern Spain, but we hadn't seen each other since then because Daniele travels the world as a digital nomad.

We didn't want to miss the chance of a reunion, so we headed to Milan. First, we had to exchange our camping gear for fancy clothes. We didn't want to stand out too much.

Before meeting up for drinks, we did some sightseeing.

Zabine was furious when she found out we had to pay €5 to enter a church. She believes that Jesus would kick these merchants and scammers out of the cathedral.

It was still nice. 😀

After the cultural part, we met up with Daniele at a birreria. He chose this place considerately for his German friends.

To follow in the footsteps of the people of Milan, we also went to a fancy cocktail bar afterwards.

Unfortunately, we were too busy talking and I forgot to take pictures 😄

A perfect evening all around. I hope to see Daniele again soon.
