Tag 8 Geopark Lopar und Fußball-WM in Rab ✌️😀

Today was a really hot day - the thermometer quickly climbed to 38 degrees, so we started the day relaxed - with a good breakfast and pool. Then we went to Lopar to the Geopark - a nature reserve with special rock formations and small, beautiful bays. We chose the bay 'Stunic', which meant a bit of a walk for us. The path itself was already a highlight, cicadas were flying and chirping everywhere, lizards were running around and there were big grasshoppers. Finally, we had a breathtaking view of the beautiful bay. The water was warm and shallow and everyone took a long swim, even a boat passed by selling ice cream 😀😀. For the World Cup finals, we went to the public viewing in the old town of Rab. Here, all restaurants had placed TVs outside, shops closed early, and the Croats celebrated their team loudly, even though they didn't win the match. Fireworks were launched late into the night, loud music was played, and a replay of the game was shown.
