Concarneau

Who has ever heard of Concarneau? We didn't before. However, the old town is located on a small peninsula in a bay and is completely surrounded by city walls. The town itself consists of barely more than 50 houses, there is a small tourist mile today, where signs on the old buildings explain what they used to be used for. Very nice, very cozy.

There is a gate in the wall, called Wine Gate, it is open towards the bay side, in the past the goods were brought from the water into the city. Wine gate because they probably made sure that a large wine barrel would fit through. Very practical, e.g. during sieges.

Doro indulges in a foot bath with the nibbling fish and enjoys it.
