After finding a page (Sensory Savours) on Instagram that showed a particularly great ice cream, I also wanted to try this café myself. I liked the page and saw more and more great places for delicious desserts nearby.
First we went to My Little Kitchen in Broadbeach. There was a delicious Nutella milkshake with baked pancakes on top. Tom had regular pancakes with ice cream and berries. Both very delicious and in a size that you can't finish.
We also went to the Chocolate Bar, which has interesting cups and mugs. There was a delicious banana milkshake.
Super delicious! And I also went to grocer & grind, where they have 'raw cake'. Well, the last bites were really close to a sugar shock.
Occasionally there is also something savory, right around the corner from us is Café on the Hedge, which makes extremely delicious sweet potato fries, and at Toms birthday we went to Coffee Republic in Bundall, the burger was really good too.
There is also great street food at the Miami Marketta (Wednesday is supposed to be much more relaxed there than on the weekend).
We have a few more café visits planned for the last month we spend on the Gold Coast:
- Nightquarter (Street food market with live music) ✖
- Bruce the Food Truck (Ice cream in a cookie and donuts)✖
- Chesterstreet Bakery (Very! Colorful cakes, Brisbane)✔
- Cowch (Make your own ice cream) ✔
- Nonnas Restaurant ✖(Ice cream with gummy bears topping, etc.)
- Groovy Dessert Bar (Brisbane) ✔
- Piggy Back Café ✖(for coffee drinkers, they have foamed milk with colorful pictures! Just ask Google ;D)
Let's see what we can actually see and try out of all that.. :)
