Huiuiuiiii it's less than 8 degrees at night in our camper, we're approaching Swiss temperatures!
We start our journey towards Milford Sound. In Te Anau we take a short coffee break before continuing, passing by lush meadows and countless sheep. The rocks around us get higher and the valley gets narrower.
We spend the night at a DOC camping site ($26 for the use of the pit toilet, well, we see it as an investment in preserving the beautiful landscape).
The evening atmosphere and the view from the camper are beautiful! However, the hunt for sandflies is never ending, even with closed doors and windows, it's a mystery where they all come from!
