We left Fynbos Golf Resort around 10am in the morning and headed to Tsitsikamma National Park, which is 45 minutes away. The entrance fee was 280 Rand (16.50€) per person. Once we arrived at the park, we started our walk towards the waterfall from the parking area. The 4km long coastal path was quite challenging and made us sweat a lot. It was filled with rocks and steep slopes, resembling a climbing trail. Without proper concentration, it would have been easy to slip. After 90 sweaty minutes, not from playing football for once, we finally reached our destination. The waterfall was worth every step. Now, it was time to head back, and as usual, the return journey was faster than we expected. But before we could take a break, there was a gorge with bridges waiting for us on the other side of the parking area. However, the 2km path was much easier to walk compared to the previous one. After that, it was time for a break. We had a meal with a sea view and then continued our journey to Plettenberg Bay.
When we usually think of Plettenberg, we associate it with the not-so-pleasant city in the Märkischer Kreis. However, Plettenberg Bay and especially our accommodation proved to be the opposite. It is a luxurious tourist destination with many restaurants and a beautiful beach.
