The 12th day

Dɛn dɔn pablish am: 24.06.2019

To make it short, today we drove 3350 kilometers so far to the North Cape.

But let's start from the beginning. The day started gloomy and already when we met our Norwegian Blue Knight Knut, it was pouring rain. His comment on that: are you made from sugar and he hopped on his BMW K 1800 and we zoomed off.

Hardly had we left Alta, the rain stopped and later the sun came out. We drove a beautiful coastal road to the North Cape, along a river and through the mountainous landscape, simply fantastic. However, the temperatures left something to be desired, 10 to 12 degrees and only 6 degrees in the tunnels, very chilly.

The North Cape itself was shrouded in dense fog, as almost always. Nevertheless, the clouds occasionally revealed the fantastic view.

Afterwards, we drove to a small coastal village where Knut took us to a great fish restaurant.

After more than 500 km today, we arrived at the cottage around 9:00 pm, exhausted but happy, in sunny weather.
