Liverpool short visit

We continued towards Wales. On the way, we wanted to briefly visit Liverpool to make Benjamin jealous with some photos of the station.

So, the navigation system was instructed to lead us to Anfield Road. After reaching the stadium, we were somewhat confused because of the blue color. Apparently, there are 2 stadiums on this street in close proximity, and we mistakenly went to Everton's stadium first. However, shortly after, we reached the one we actually wanted to visit. It looks impressive, and so does the surrounding area. The fan shop was also very big. It's clear that they have money.

After that, we wanted to stop at a BurgerKing along the way. However, it turned into a long parking search and a considerable walk in Birkenhead. At least it was an inexpensive BurgerKing. Sometimes a double cheeseburger costs 4.50 pounds there. Here, we almost got a small menu for that price. I have never seen such different prices in Germany.

Then we continued towards Llangollen, where we found a really nice campsite. We immediately extended our stay for 3 nights because after that we only have one more stop planned in England.

In the meantime, the package that we wanted to send back home from the Netherlands has also been found and sent to SAP Netherlands. That was the only address I could think of, because they didn't want to send it to Germany. We can pick it up on the way back.
