Today, right from the start, there wasn't much going on. We were just lazy. After a very relaxed and long breakfast, we packed our things to continue driving. However, before we started, we wanted to go to the wonderful beach once again...
Of course, as expected, the water was quite cool. I read that in the summer it's between 11 and 14 degrees Celsius... 😆 But the tactic of going in... coming out again, and going in a little further worked, so that after a while 😁 we were all in the water 'properly'.
The whale 🐋 was pulled into the sea in the morning with a motorboat, and then who knows what happened with it 🤷
Around 1 PM, we put Myre and the navigation system as our new destination... and set off, not taking the direct route but using the roads in a way that we went around the island. We were once again treated to fantastic views.
We ended up at Oppmyre Camping in Myre... a campsite that I highly recommend! The location is great (even though there is no real beach). But the sanitary facilities are well-designed and well-maintained. There is a kitchen, a lounge with a TV, a small playground, and a very friendly campsite manager who speaks German. We happily paid 280 NOK for the night! You can also use the washing machine and dryer for 50 NOK. In this case, I used them for larger clothes like jeans or hoodies.
We arrived at the campsite at 4 PM and then everyone did what they felt like doing... reading, fishing, crocheting... chilling
