My last stop of my motorbike-nothern-EXTREM-route was in Mai Chau. This village is a very quiet and relaxing one.
I went a last time to a mechanic, after going there almost every day. Unfortunately I was sick of going every day to the mechanic. Therefor I decided to sell my motorbike.
From Mai Chau I drove to Hanoi and sold my motorbike within 15 minutes, for 280$.
After staying a few days in Hanoi, I went to Phong Nha. I got there at 4 am, but the good side was I got to know a german guy, with whom I kept traveling. The bus from Hanoi to Phong Nha took 10h, and we decided to get a bicycle and explore the surrounding area the same day.
After biking 30 minutes we got to a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. It was amazing there. There was a pool table and we ate the best local food I had in Vietnam, yet. At this restaurant we also got to know 2 very nice british girls.
The next day, the german guy, the two british girls and I rented two motorbikes and went to the nearby national park. We visited a beautiful cave with amazing stalagmites and after that we went to a botanical garden, which was amazing too. Unfortunately on our way back it started raining. To the point we arrived in our hostel we got completely wet.
The next Stop is going to be Hoi An...
