How was it again "Goal compensates the way" I think something else but this version fits better.
After breakfast, we left the foggy and cold Swakopmund.
The goal was the Erongo Mountains about 200 km away from Swakopmund.
The first 100 km were asphalted, then the familiar gravel road, which was well passable.
The landscape changed towards the east from a pure desert landscape, over time it became more hilly.
Our lodge is right on a rock formation, what can I say without exaggeration, super awesome mega cool 🤩
About 3-5 km before the lodge, 2 giraffes welcome us, not really, but it looked like that 😜 the giraffes were really there though 😃
If everyone is exceptionally quiet, there is a fascinating peace, without wind you would feel like you're hermetically sealed in a vacuum. Comparison, well ... it's true though.
Tomorrow we head north towards Etosha NP.
