Philly (Philadelphia) 02.04.-04.04.2017

Our first destination was the beautiful Philadelphia (also known as Philly).

On 02.04.2017, we picked up our car in Jersey City and drove about 1.5 hours to Philly with our Jeep Patriot.

Already on the highway, we realized that we were no longer in familiar surroundings. Cars, driving styles, and highway limits/signs took some getting used to in the beginning :)

On our drive to Philly, we crossed amazing and impressive bridges, but the Benjamin Franklin Bridge at the entrance of Philadelphia topped it all!

Our hotel, Hampton Inn, was located in the center of Philadelphia. We spent our arrival day without any big plans. In the evening, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset at Pier 5 and treated ourselves to a small aperitif at La Peg (an old fire station converted into a bar/restaurant/theater).

On our second day in Philly, we visited the beautiful city and its sights (Rocky Stairs, ChinaTown, South Street also known as the Hippie Quarter, Market Hall, Downtown, and much more).

On 04.04., we make our way to Canada to visit the famous Niagara Falls.
