24th Feb 2019: The evening before, I wanted to book the transfer to Vang Vieng. They told me to come by at 9 o'clock today. Of course, no one knew about it then. I had already suspected that. In the neighboring hostel, they tried to get a spot for the morning transfer, but no one answered. So, I decided to try again in the afternoon.

We drove from the capital, Vientiane, to Vang Vieng on roads that can hardly be called roads. In the van, there were only Chinese people and I was the only white person.
