Day 4 France 2023 - 1,248km "Tours -> Île de Ré"
We started the day at a small but beautiful market in "Tours" - (Marché Velpeau). For dinner, we bought truffle and beetroot pasta. Originally, the plan was to follow the Loire. But we had a great longing for the sea!
We found a beautiful campsite on the "Île de Ré". Since we could check in at 3.30 pm, we drove to the nearest oyster farm. As a welcome, our van was marked by two fine doggies. The food and wine were heavenly in taste if you like seafood, and all for a few euros! Wonderful!
Checked in, set up, and checked out. Only the bathrooms had several spiders hanging from the ceiling, each with a diameter of more than 10cm (without exaggeration).
In the evening, we had the most delicious bruschetta from the world-famous chef Lea W von Eimer! As a main course, we were served the handmade pasta from the market - a dream!
We end the evening by the sea!
