Now our return flight was exactly one week ago and the cold has caught up with us.
We are grateful for all the impressions we were able to collect.
For the super funny people we got to know.
For the exciting stories surrounding it, the (unexpectedly) pleasant weather and of course the delicious food!
The last day
Our departure was from Tel Aviv. We could still spend half a day at the beach. Great weather and a beautiful Mediterranean Sea!
The journey home was just as relaxed as the day itself. Although we arrived with about an hour's delay, I still caught my Flixbus to Nuremberg on time and the others had (as I have been told) an, let's call it, 'interesting culinary' detour to the kebab shop around the corner.
It was said to have everything from schnitzel to chicken to currywurst ;). Well...my seat neighbor also seemed to...(alias smell?).
At around two o'clock and (from my side) five o'clock, we finally entered our domestic beds, although not for very long. The next day was tough - those who were smart took a day off, the rest had to go to school.

Bomb attacks
In the next few days, I would like to gather excerpts from the whole family about our impressions. I would like to dedicate this entry to something more explosive:
This is Tel Aviv today. Right now. In this moment.
A friend I met there (I told you I would find an Israeli!!!) wrote to me a few hours ago:
'Yey War started again. If I disappear means I died ;)'
'Are you kidding?'
'About dying yes. About the war no.'
'I thought war has never ended?'
'Yes, but now they're dropping bombs, and that hasn't happened for four years.'
'What happened that the situation has changed?'
'Israel killed one of their leaders. Bombs have never reached Tel Aviv before. Today they did. They seem pretty mad.'
'Take care.'
'The problem is, I work in Ahdod and the bombs here hit every 10 minutes. Annoying sh*t.... and now again yay.....damn, that one was really fucking close.'

I don't want to pray for it because fortunately I left a week before the war started.
I want to be with all my heart with the people we met there who are now seeking shelter in bunkers, fearing for their families and not knowing when it will end.
God protected us on this journey. Every day, every hour, every minute.
And of course, we are currently more grateful than anything that we are safe and sound and that we were able to have these experiences. A journey that everyone must make!
Let us be with the land of our God and the people who trust in His promises during these hours!
