Distance 106 kilometers, cumulative 2,259 kilometers | Elevation 290, cumulative 15,880
Today I cycled 106 kilometers, more than half of which were uphill! Despite that, I never got any higher; it was the brisk wind that made me feel that way. The air was cool and despite the sun I could never take off my hoodie. The advantage of this is of course that I didn't have to sweat as much and therefore had to drink less.
Today there was also a stretch that was completely straight and again for many kilometers. The path led through a nature reserve with lots of dunes and bushes. There were few trees. Most of the time, this road was also accessible to cars. I probably encountered fewer than 10 of them.
The wind was already getting stronger here and my motor had to support me the whole time. So I had to pedal even harder, the battery could not be allowed to run out. Although I could then continue without support, I would not have been able to go any further in this wind, our total weight is far too high for that.
Like yesterday, we (Vogel-Lisi and I) mostly rode on bike paths or lonely roads. Sometimes also on dirt roads with lots of potholes. You have to avoid these whenever possible, as they cause strong impacts on the bike and on me. It is difficult to see them all, so surprises are to be expected.
After 65 kilometers the road ended and we had to change to the ferry. Unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour and then arrived at the other side in 15 minutes.
From there I went along the river bank on a main road. Unfortunately I never came across a shop or they were closed.
At some point I needed a break; the headwind was getting to me. I had a strange sandwich and a Coca-Cola. After a short phone call with Brigitte, I felt fit enough to tackle the remaining 20 kilometers. Shortly afterwards, however, I found a car wash where I was able to clean the dirt off my bike.
After that I was lucky enough to ride through a long forest. This meant that the wind was almost unnoticeable and I made good progress and reached my intended destination in good time.

Today he ran 106 kilometers, more than halfway up the route! Even so, never arrived any higher; the strong wind made me feel like this. The air was fresh and, due to the sun, I couldn't take off my sweatshirt. The idea of this, presumably, is that I don't want to drink too much and drink too little.
Today I also had an absolutely straight run and it ran for many more kilometers. The route passed through a natural reserve with many dunes and trees. I have a few trees. Most of the time this road can also be used by cars. Probably found less than 10.
Yes, the wind started to blow and my engine stopped working all the time. Because of this I think I have to pedal harder because the battery won't drain. Even now you can continue driving without help, with this wind you cannot move forward; our total weight is too much for him.
Just like before, we (Vogel-Lisi and I) travel mainly by bike or by solo roads. Sometimes also on unpaved roads and with many streams. We must always avoid what is possible because it causes strong impacts on the motorcycle and on me. It's difficult for everyone, as I expect surprises.
After 65 kilometers the road came to its end and we decided to change to the ferry. Unfortunately we expect it to take about an hour to get there in 15 minutes.
From here we take a federal road that borders the bank. Unfortunately I never found any store or they were locked.
At some point I needed a break, the wind against me was affecting me. Tomé, a rare sandwich and a Coca-Cola. After a short telephone conversation with Brigitte, I felt in conditions of facing the remaining 20 kilometers. Without embargo, a little after I found a car washer where I could get rid of the stress that had accumulated on my bike.
Then you have the luck to cross a wide forest. As a result, the wind was definitely not noticed and everything quickly and arrived at my desired destination at a good time.
