Day 6: Völlan - Borgo

Hi! (Unfortunately the pictures are upside down)

English completely missed. After not hearing any Italian language in Scheinitalien, I am now completely Lost in Italy.

Unfortunately, my great Latinum does not help me at all here. No one is called Quintus here either! But at least you won't get ripped off here 🤔 But that will be even more interesting in Venice tomorrow.
So first we started in the wrong direction according to Maps. Down the whole mountain again. 'Völlan unnecessary'! I could have booked a hotel down there too. Next time!
Well, after the altitude meters were done, only 400 more meters were missing. That'll work.
Relaxed via the next path of the Claudia Augusta (this time completely without gravel!) we went to Trento. Quentin Tatrientino comes from there, I'm sure. On the whole route, I of course kept an eye out for something special now and then. Samba dancers, adventure rafting for bikes, Santa Clauses, art exhibition, street food festival, nothing at all.. But then.. I had to wait a long time until it finally came! ..The river observation station! No joke, it was there. You go in and can watch the river. Great! For that, I pay money. Now without a joke, half of the tour was a river observation station, on the right the river and on the left the apple observation station, maybe someone is trying to close the gap in the market. I'm releasing the idea to the world!
A few more facts: 1) The journey took about 360 minutes. 2) A song lasts 3 minutes, so I can listen to 120 songs on the journey. Fits!

3) It takes 10 seconds to eat a chocolate croissant, so I can eat 3600 of them in that time! Fits! The boredom may go away, but the digestion becomes interesting. Best regards!

Well, now comes the stressful part. Now it's getting completely crazy! Google Maps wanted to let me drive 11! kilometers on the state road in Italy. After searching for 15 minutes for the entrance ramp, I had to realize that it was forbidden. So I just have to be escorted by the police to the next exit. Top service! Well, not quite. So detour in the jungle of town signs. Fortunately, I didn't get bored until the end, thanks to the nice incline, hidden shortcuts or the rain at the end.
But it was worth it. The hotel is modernly furnished and the restaurant finally knows how to feed the stomachs cheaply. 13 € for everything you see in the pictures. That's a dream! Take a look!
Tomorrow, first roll out to Venice, literally. Just 115 km downhill to take a break 💪 I'm looking forward to it!

Ciao Bella Florian
