From heaven to hell
A little story of a perfect horror day.
I know exactly one person who will finish today's tour at the destination in 1000 years. Me. But was it worth it?
Long Story Short:
It started beautifully with sunshine and a great landscape.
I got this tip from the hotel lady. Then I did the rest as fast as possible.
Reason: the last ferry left at 18:20.
Now I thought I should make it around 4:40 or 5:20.
Well, then at 11:00 the rain came and a 60 km/h headwind.
After I was able to take a few short breaks in the rain clouds, there was a complete rain cloud over Denmark from 2-7 p.m. But that should be enough for you, because 75% of it was open stretches, meaning a full 60 km/h wind.
If you drive 20 km/h, that's 3x as much power with the same output. Welcome to the East.
I really twisted my left knee. I hope it gets sorted out by Friday, then it will be over.
Then the hardest battle since World War II began. It was me against time. I had won when I arrived at the ferry, completely exhausted, at 6:13 p.m.
Then luckily we were able to get some food at the hotel. Now it was time for the meat.
Luckily tomorrow it will only be 75 km and 45 km/h headwind with 3-4 small showers.
Wish me luck!
See you tomorrow 🫵🏽
