Today, we went back into the city. Our first stop was in the Gamla Stan, where we bought hot white chocolate. We sat by the water and enjoyed it. On the way to the water, I noticed a bee sitting on my shoulder. I didn't think much of it and let my companion sit there. When we arrived at the water, I noticed that the bee was still there. So, I carefully took off my jacket and watched over my little friend. He seemed a bit tired because he stayed motionless when we wanted to continue. So, we found a safe place and left him there. I hope he survived.
We continued walking. We went to the islands of Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen. From there, we had a good view of the Gröna Lund, Stockholm's amusement park. We sat there for a while and observed the boats and the park. After returning to the mainland, we walked along the dock in Östermalm to Djurgården. We sat on a bench by the water and enjoyed the view.
Then it was getting late. On the way back home, we took the historic train that runs in Östermalm during the summer.
After dinner, we got ready because we wanted to go out. We first went to the cultural festival, but there was nothing going on anymore. So, we looked for a bar in Södermalm, but we couldn't find anything open there either. Then we stumbled upon a marathon that was taking place in the neighborhood. We watched and cheered for the participants. That was also fun.
Finally, we found a club that we were looking for. However, Caro said that she believed she was getting a urinary tract infection because she was in pain. She said that Marie and I could go to the club without her, but we didn't want to leave her alone. So, our evening didn't turn out as planned and we went back home and went to sleep.
