Portugal 2016

I spontaneously decided to go on a short vacation to Portugal with my brother. Said and done, off to our trusted travel agency. This time, I had to rely on the information and recommendations of the travel expert for the first time.

On November 9th, 2016, we headed to Stuttgart Airport early in the morning. Departure at 5:50 am. Just under 3 hours later, we landed in Faro. It was a short car ride to Albufeira. Our hotel was Vila Galé Cerro Alagoa.

We received the room upgrade to a poolside view that was promised to us via email. In hindsight, it was a very good decision. The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms facing the street were accordingly noisy.

The Atlantic Ocean is 700m away from the hotel, a beautiful beach that invites you for a walk.

Albufeira with its idyllic old town is beautiful. Pubs, shops, small souvenir stores line up in narrow, winding alleys.

Conclusion: Highly recommended for a short vacation.
