Workaway in Quesada

Dɛn dɔn pablish am: 27.04.2018

After my trip through Seville and Granada, I have been in Quesada since Saturday (21.04.18). This small village with about 4000 inhabitants is located in the Carzorla Sierra National Park and is about 2 hours by car from Granada. You can take a look at the map to see exactly where I am ;)

What is Workaway?:

As the title suggests, I am doing "Workaway". What is Workaway? As the name suggests, it means working away from home. However, you don't get paid, but rather new experiences, a place to sleep, and something to eat every day. In Germany, we call this volunteering. To be precise, Workaway is an internet platform where you can sign up, browse through various positions, and, if interested, send a message. There are many different offers in many different areas (fincas, permaculture, social projects, babysitting, farms, and much more). You can do Workaway in almost any country in the world.

In what area am I working?:

I work on an olive farm and there are also chickens, goats, two horses, two dogs, and four cats (soon there will be more because two cats are pregnant 😉)

Where am I living?

I live in a traditional Spanish "Cortijo-House" (according to Google, that's a farmhouse) in the middle of an olive field.

More information will follow in the next few days. There, I will share my work with you. and
