With the ferry we go back to the mainland to Igomenitsa. From there we drive along the coast towards the island of Lefkas, which is connected to the mainland by a small bridge. We enjoy the vastness of the mainland, the diverse nature, and the good wide roads. Once we arrive in Lefkas, our Bully winds its way through narrow island roads. Just in time for sunset, we reach a beautiful camping spot. Behind steep, tree-covered cliffs is a dreamy long pebble beach with crystal-clear water. A handful of other campers and Bullys have already gathered. For the first time, we are standing next to neighbors - after so much solitude, it's nice to have some company. Stephan exchanges thoughts with the other men about Bully/camper-related construction topics. It is quickly decided that we will stay a few nights in this beautiful spot. Our neighbors, Stephi and Till, with their little Bruno, are also from Munich or Schwabing - on the last evening, we enjoy our wine and beer supplies by candlelight and the sound of the sea. Greetings to all three of you - it was wonderful :-).
Today we will continue. Sitting on the ferry to Kefalonia at sunrise, then after a little island exploration and another ferry ride, we will arrive in Íthaka tonight - according to mythology, the homeland of Odysseus.
