The first night in Bobby ❤️
For the first time, 15-year-old Bobby was taken out. Together with Anne, we went to Wandlitz, which was not far away.
Beforehand, the kitchen and the rest of the bed had to be finished. With the help of two strong men, we managed to overcome this hurdle and we could start.
The drive through the big and hectic Berlin to get to Anne didn't really give the feeling of comfortable travel. Especially with the manual transmission and the diesel engine, big cities are clearly not our preference! Bobby didn't seem thrilled and neither were my nerves.
When we arrived at Anne's, the stress had already dissipated, and it completely disappeared when we talked about food.
The evening could begin with delicious ice cream, chocolate & beer, as well as noodles with pesto.
We parked in a public parking lot with a view to the west, facing a lake. The sunset was beautiful to watch. And the girls' night was a successful event!
Conclusion: Dealing with the gas cooker requires learning... and the built-in drawer of a kitchen was not well thought out -> too small.
Unfortunately, when the bed was unfolded, the refrigerator was no longer accessible and the unfolded part of the bed was not particularly stable.
So I fell asleep with a huge to-do list for the next day.
The next morning: The bed itself is super soft and therefore takes some getting used to, but nothing that needs to be changed :)
Due to my thermal cover for the front and side windows, it was possible to sleep until 9 without being awakened by the heat or the sun.
The installation of a campervan window was also a very good investment, fresh air with a light breeze on the feet is very pleasant on a summer night.
Travel planning: It is now only 11 days until the departure date for the 6-week Europe Tour 2021.
Last but not least, a huge thanks to my dad and my brother, who helped me at the last minute to make this short trip possible ❤️
