Finally sniff Norwegian air again!
But there was still one hurdle. Register Buddy at customs. After several preparations in which we studied the Internet for hours to find out what requirements there are, so that Buddy can accompany us without any problems, we also came across many negative contributions. There it was said that dogs that resemble any banned breed could be confiscated or had to be personally presented at customs. We did our best and thought about whether it would be better to simply smuggle Buddy across the border in the glove compartment ?! 🤔 After several attempts, we found out: Unfortunately, it doesn't fit! So the less comfortable option after all: Buddy obediently register at customs!
This procedure then took a whole 3 (yes, you heard right!), 3 full minutes on site and dogs were not even allowed in the customs building. So much for having to introduce personally! By the way, we didn't have to show anything other than Buddy's passport. We could drive on directly and finally arrived. Back in our favorite country! It's still not as mountainous and there are still many lakes missing, but it doesn't matter. We were happy about every bigger hill behind which maybe the next lake will be.
We stayed at one place and set up our camp. We were with Buddy by the water and tried to take some photos of us and Buddy. We were semi successful! Decide for yourself 😂
When all the bellies were filled with food and happiness, we slipped contentedly under the blankets and fell asleep.
