After the hot stage yesterday, we were glad that it was pleasantly cool this morning. The paths were consistently pleasant with hardly any elevation, mostly on soft forest ground. We noticed that we were getting closer to our destination Santiago de Compostela right from the start. In the last 3 weeks, we had only seen a few pilgrims, but today there were 'hundreds'. It was almost like a procession, due to the fact that different 'Camino' routes meet here. There were surprisingly many young pilgrims as well as many so-called 'light pilgrims' who only had a small backpack, the rest of their luggage was transported for a fee. We also met a couple from Dresden with the slogan, in their own words: 'DD never ends'. So you can find all kinds of people here, but you don't necessarily have to pay attention to them. After a rather unspectacular 20 km, we arrived at our destination Pedrouzo. We are very much looking forward to tomorrow's last stage to Santiago de Compostela and the first glimpse of the cathedral.
