Hue - da nang - saigon - phu quoc

Dɛn dɔn pablish am: 15.01.2018

From Tam Coc we made our way to Hue by the infamous nightbus, and it was as horrible as it was descriebed in all the websites in the internet. In the bus the air condition was cooled down to a minimum that it was so cold that we used our winter jackets and I used a sleeping bag additionally. On the way we stopped several times to pick up some local people on the way, but there were no seats left so they had to lie down on the floor. Next to me, a lady with two small children was laying on the floor and the babies enjoyed this ride as much as I did. So they cried half of the way. So after this busride as hell I went straight to bed to catch some sleep. Then we had two days to visit the old town from Hue, the famous tunnels of vinh-moc and a vietnamese graveyard. From Hue we took a train to Da Nang, where we stayed two nights to relaxe, and enjoy the sea. But unfortunately  the weather was not really good, so we did a very long walk to the lady Buddha and we were very lucky cause we saw the dragon spitting fire at the dragonbridge, a spectacle that only takes place on saturday at 9pm. From Da Nang we took a plane to saigon or now also know as ho-chi minh city, where we spent some days. For new year we had an amazing view on the main road, where a few hundred thousand of people were celebrating.        For my birthday we took the ferry to Phu Quoc, where we spent some relaxing days with chilling at the beach, snorkeling and diving. We even rented a small boat with another austrian couple, to go to some small islands and also fishing and then eat the fish we caught before.
