Tapotupotu Campsite at Cape Reinga

For a good start to the day, there is delicious coffee, tea, and breakfast. Then we pack up our stuff and head to the nearby beach one more time. The turquoise water catches our attention so much that we decide to jump into the sea with our clothes on. After changing into dry clothes, we actually start driving. On the way, we pass an inconspicuous roadside stand where we buy freshly prepared ice cream. In the lovingly prepared containers, we also find delicious sandwiches for the upcoming breakfast. A few kilometers later, we arrive at Ninety Mile Beach - an 88-kilometer-long beach. Unfortunately, we couldn't see as far as we had imagined. After that, we continue to the next campsite in Mangonui. Here we have a delicious dinner, cut Arnd's hair, and play Phase 10 over a cozy cup of tea.
