Day 9-12 (Tuesday July 16-20) - Relaxing on the other side of the Hudson - New Jersey City

New York City is an exciting city. And quite exhausting... The plan was actually to take a 'detour' to Curacao for a few days, but we felt that we needed some relaxation. No more travel stress before flying back to Europe, to our next destination Marseille via Paris. The idea was to find a nice accommodation nearby and just relax. We found a lovely apartment on the other side of the Hudson River in New Jersey City. We were there in just under an hour.

New Jersey City doesn't offer much in terms of tourism. And that's exactly what we wanted, because we still had wonderful 3 weeks in Southern France ahead of us. We let our souls dangle and enjoyed the skyline of New York from a completely different perspective, as you can see in the photos.
