Leikanger on the Sognefjord

Stage 75: Holsen - Leikanger: On the tourist road of Gaularfjellet (including a longer hike along the river valley), we arrive at the spectacular viewpoint Utsikten. From there, we continue with a detour to Balestrand (shopping and a quick swim in the water) before taking the ferry to Hella. Taking the ferry is now like taking a tram, the car number plate is usually photographed and the bill is sent home later. From Hella, we continue on the coastal road to Leikanger, where we find a scenic and relatively quiet place to stay overnight.
