Day 2 in Abu Dhabi

Since today at 2 pm the departure from Abu Dhabi was planned, we stayed only in the port and on the ship. But it's not boring here.

Unfortunately, a woman left on her own without checking out on board.

As a result, the port authority did not allow us to leave for over an hour.

But then finally, around 3 pm, we started towards Doha in scorching heat.

We celebrated the exit from the port with four of us on the balcony of our aft cabin.

We had brought 4 drinks for ourselves and our friends, but they had the same idea, so there were now 8 drinks on the table🙈.

It became quite fun again…😁.

Now we have been on the road for 8 hours again and are in the middle of the Persian Gulf.

Right now, at 11 pm, we are passing an oil rig. On the open sea, you can see a huge flame on the horizon. The picture is not great due to the rough seas🤷‍♂️.

By the way, today we also had an oversized snake in our room😱.

Although we didn't do anything else today, we still have 12355 steps on the record. Only 132 steps from the elevator/stairwell to our cabin door.

It is already quite shaky today, but this time it is really the ship😅.

The wind is supposed to increase to wind force 7, so we are at a clear disadvantage in the back of the ship🤮.
