Tag 1: From Darwin to Bali

After the airport shuttle from Darwin City to the airport, we had to go through two security checks. The waiting area is equipped in crocodile leather style, which shocked us a bit. The flight with AirAsia took about 2.5 hours and was fine. The plane and the crew were good, but some other passengers had a cold and cough, which annoyed us after a while.

Arriving in Bali, we were harassed by quite a few taxi drivers. We then took a taxi outside the airport and drove about 20 minutes to Kuta. The traffic is quite chaotic, with cars and scooters everywhere. Our double room was great and very clean. For dinner, we only got ourselves a fruit salad. Then we went to bed quite tired.
