Black Forest Zoo and Emmendingen Castle

Since we only stayed for the weekend, Sunday was already the day of departure. However, to make use of the beautiful weather, we stopped by Black Forest Zoo on our way back. The zoo itself is not very big, so we went through it fairly quickly. We saw various native animals. However, there were mainly families with children on site, so we felt a bit out of place :D

In addition to the zoo, there was also a small mountain path. We took a walk there.

Although it was only a weekend, it was a really nice one! The weather was great, much better than during our last visit to the Black Forest in February. This is what a perfect weekend trip looks like :)
