Day 6: last day in Maine

We took it easy today. The weather was rather bad and it got quite chilly. We spent half of the day reading, having breakfast, and chilling. When the sky brightened up a bit, we went exploring the area and took another photo of the spot where we had seen the shell seekers three days ago. This time, we could at least see a bit of the surroundings.

Our path finally led us to Hannaford, where we succumbed to temptation and bought one of those huge slices of cake that we had seen in the display earlier this week.

Let's just say... one slice was definitely enough for both of us. And is there even a word to describe something sweeter than *sweet*sweeter*sweetest*...? Anyway, right after the cake, I grilled myself a steak... my craving for something savory was too strong.

By the way, we managed to stay awake until 9:30 pm today. It's getting better... 😴

Tomorrow, we're heading to Lake George, NY.
