Boat trip through "Little Halong Bay"๐Ÿ˜œ

Good morning to Germany, gรครครคh, I'm so tired๐Ÿ™‰. Yesterday we also had to set the alarm because we had booked a tour ๐Ÿ˜–! The delicious breakfast was gobbled down in no time and we were picked up.

Our guide this time was a German-speaking Thai woman! She looked like Cindy Lauper and gave us the impression that she stayed somewhere in the 80s ๐Ÿ˜œ! She was still very nice and fed us a lot of information๐Ÿ‘.

It went through the hinterland of Khao Lak. Here were huge plantations with pineapples, coconuts, rubber and bananas. We could see the farmers working on the plantations. Many vans were already loaded with pineapples, coconuts etc. ready at the roadside.

After about 1 hour and 20 minutes we reached a small port. There our long boat was already ready for us ๐Ÿ˜Š. It was a great drive through the mangrove forests. Again and again we drove through narrow overgrown streets. That was impressive ๐Ÿ˜Š! The roots of the trees sticking out of the water looked totally bustling.

We continued on the open sea to a large pier. The kayaks were already waiting for us there๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Unfortunately we were not allowed to paddle ourselves. Each boat had a guide๐Ÿ˜–! Our paddler let out a really bad Prince Charming. Just stupid sayings ๐Ÿ™‰. I said to Daniela, one more sentence and I'll knock the worm off the boat with his paddle ๐Ÿ˜ฌ! It was said before that if the paddlers don't talk much and don't ask for a tip themselves, it's up to us whether we give something ๐Ÿ‘! I already had money ready, but after the show ๐Ÿ˜–. Then the one just in front of the investor said "I GET 100 Baht"! That was really the crowning glory ๐Ÿคด๐Ÿพ! When we got out of the kayak, we gave him a nice wave ๐Ÿ‘‹! He was totally hooked......! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ!

Now we went back to the longboat and we were driven to a very specific rock ๐Ÿ˜œ! The so-called James Bond Rock ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Hm, I couldn't remember the film at all, the rock was still spectacular๐Ÿ™‰! He was bypassed once for appropriate photos and then the tour continued to a floating minority village ๐Ÿ™ƒ!

The sea became more and more restless in the meantime, so that the trip with the longboat became a very unstable affair ๐Ÿ™‰. Tablets against seasickness were diligently distributed ๐Ÿ˜ฌ! But it went well without any special incidents.

There was a very tasty lunch on the floating village, I was pleasantly surprised ๐Ÿ˜‰! A villager had caught ๐Ÿฆ€ from a pool and walked past our table with his basket. Something big black was sitting on his back ๐Ÿ™ˆ. I wanted to scream hysterically again because I thought it was a tarantula ๐Ÿ™ˆ! But then I saw that he had cancer ๐Ÿฆ€ on his body ๐Ÿ˜‚. Phew, luckily I hadn't screamed ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ˜ฌ!

After the meal we were shown around the floating village. Hmmmm, freshly caught fish ๐ŸŸ was dried in the sun ๐Ÿ™ˆ. It smelled terrible, but one species felt right at home on the fish! Zig flies cavorted on it ๐Ÿ˜„! I asked directly what happened to it ๐Ÿ˜ฌ?! It would be sold after drying ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™ˆ! Baaaah, what a disgusting idea ๐Ÿ˜–! Luckily I don't eat such a sh...๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฌ!

The village was divided into rich and poor ๐Ÿ™„! Where we had eaten stood the great huts of the rich. Almost all had a speedboat in front. Our guide said that tourism made them rich. Behind it were the littered barracks of the poorer villagers ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Unbelievable how people can live there at all ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. Her chickens ran around in the huts and there was dirt everywhere!

Well then, we took the boat ๐Ÿšฃ back through the mangrove forests to the jetty! Our driver was waiting there to take us to a stalactite cave. So many monkeys were running and jumping around the cave ๐Ÿ’. I thought that was great. A small vegetable/fruit market was set up at the roadside and again and again you could see that some monkeys were stealing bananas from the stands๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ฌ! It was difficult for me to part with the monkeys, but the visit of the cave was coming up๐Ÿ˜. It had fantastic stalactite formations and even cuter residents๐Ÿค—! Bats flew around us ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿฆ‡ !

At the end of our tour, a waterfall was visited. It had a lot to offer due to the rainy season ๐Ÿ˜! A little boy from the group jumped into the water there ๐Ÿ˜. We didn't feel like swimming ๐ŸŠ because we were already knocked out. But we got a free spa treatment. Nibble fish bit our toes ๐Ÿ˜‚! After that the tour was over and we were taken to our hotel๐Ÿ˜Š!

Now it was time to get ready for the "party"๐Ÿ˜œ!

It was full moon ๐ŸŒ• and that was called full moon party ๐Ÿ˜‰ on the beach ๐Ÿค—! We walked towards the beach and a street dog followed us. He was nice and looked very hungry ๐Ÿ˜’. We are in a small store, I wanted to get a bone or something for him there. I wanted to get rid of him with it! But the store had nothing for animals ๐Ÿ˜’! Daniela was totally shocked. She said we can't get rid of him! He was still in front of the door when we left ๐Ÿ™‰. He went over with us a little bit, but then said goodbye ๐Ÿ‘! Finally arrived at the beach there was no full moon party ๐Ÿ˜ฎ! Very strange, we thought the entire beach consists of a party zone, but nothing was ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Hmmmm, we then had a drink in a beach bar๐Ÿ˜ฌ!
