The weather the next morning is promising - bright blue sky and the world and the view from my room already look much friendlier....

I continue heading north to the Whitsundays.... On the way there, I make a stop at one of the many national parks... The beach is great, but deserted - no cafe, not even a kiosk, to have a cup of coffee - the 'Aussies' seem to be self-sufficient...
The beach in the national park... Deserted, but not really inviting to stay... Nature, nature, nature... Beautiful, but 'quite dry' ;-)... After about a 3-hour drive, I arrive at the Whitsundays... The area is much more touristy, at least there's something to see and also some nice bars... Decide to stay here for a day...The Whitsundays - much busier... ...with many hidden beautiful spots... And a nice and enjoyable sundowner... Let's see what I'll do tomorrow...
